Dos and Don’ts To Keep You Safe in Cyberspace

Reminders on how to keep safe in cyber world:

  • You should have anti-virus and anti-spyware in your computer/laptop. It must be updated regularly.
  • The security software must be updated.
  • You only have to register to the trusted sites.
  • Your password must be unique, strong or at least ten characters mixed with upper and lower case.
  • Do not click on a pop-up windows or banners that will appear on your browsing sites.
  • Do not click on unknown emails because it might be scams offering anything like drugs, low-cost insurance, etc.
  • Before paying or purchasing any products, pay attention!
  • Do not give any of your personal information to any websites.
  • If you are signing via pop-up windows or banner ads, make sure you understand the terms and conditions.
  • Be careful!

  1. Most people nowadays are aware of having a safe computer as much as they could but the only thing they don't know how... Thanks for this tips this is a good on reminder to be more cautious on their computer.
