LeFern Hotel: Affordable Hotel in Baguio City

During holiday season, I had a quick visit in the summer capital of the Philipines, Baguio City! I know it's not easy to find a place during peak season because all hotels and Inns are fully booked. But, I still go and seeking a room for a night is not really easy. After an hour, I finally found a place to stay and it's in the heart of Baguio City.

LeFern Hotel is located near SM Baguio. It is one minute to Session Road where you can find the Cathedral and restaurants. It is a residential place converted to become a homey hotel. Enjoy and experience their room in a colorful setting. The room is clean especially in the bathroom. It has hot and cold shower, cable TV in all rooms, and a wifi in public places. The staff is very nice and approachable.

On the second floor is the 181 Resto Bar where they also serve quality drinks and food. I got FREE breakfast during my stay. And, there's a convenient store on the ground floor with limited roadside parking.

Indeed, its affordable hotel and a cozy place to stay!

Cheap Accommodation in Sagada | George Guest House

I went to Mountain Province with my travel buddies. It was four days of vacation in the beautiful place where I can have a peace of my mind and indulge some physical activities. My friend booked us our accommodations at George Guest House for three nights in a room which good for three persons.

It is located in Dao-angan, Sagada, Mountain Province and only five minutes walk from the town proper, and very accessible to most of the popular restaurant in Sagada.

Blue Room

The location is easy to find. The establishment has a restaurant, too! So, if you don’t feel to go out to look for a resto. Then, you can just ask the staff and they will cook for you. The food is not so special though. But, has reasonable prices.

It is also walking distance to Church of St. Mary the Virgin and the road will also take the tourists to the Sumaguing and Lumiang Caves, burial caves and trail towards Mount Ampacao.

The room is clean, with private hot and cold bath, a viewing deck for each room, cable, and wifi is available, but on the upper floor the wifi signal was poor. It is in front when the sun rises. The staff/owner of the hotel is nice, friendly, and accommodating.

Orchids Resort: A good place to stay

The Orchids Resort is suited for backpackers or travellers who are looking for affordable and yet comfortable resort to stay on their vacation. This resort is located at Station 3 in Boracay Island and it has access to the main road and the white beach in just two to three minutes.

The cottages are made of native bamboo which makes you feel like you are on your own home. It has fan rooms, air-conditioned rooms, native cottages, and family villa. All are equipped with private bathroom, hot/cold shower, and an outdoor seating area.

The amenities were great and I love the ambiance. It was amazing! In terms of customer service, the Orchids resort staff are very kind and accommodating. Plus, the place is surrounded by flowers, trees, and nature which make you feel like you are on your own home.

The location is away from crowded white beach and partying place, but still just a minute walk leading you out to the white beach and restaurants in Station 1 and 2. The breakfast here is also good. The staff helped us a lot and I asked them to arrange my changes in transportation and maybe they can also book your island hopping from the receptionist counter.

The only problem here is that you can hear TV/music in the next room.

Orchids Resort is a native style resort and one of the most affordable accommodations on Boracay Island. It is, indeed, a good place for relaxation after the whole day of tiring activities.

Stressful and very tiring week can make us so exhausted that’s why we need to unwind in order to gain more strength for the upcoming week.So, spending at the hotel, for me is a way to detached ourselves from our work and other things that bothered us. I stayed at the hotel for an overnight stay in a deluxe room with free breakfast. 

I was so excited that day because I’d made a reservation at the Fersal Hotel to stay overnight. Sad because I am all alone but it's just fine at least I can rest. Maybe someday when I stay at the hotel I can bring my other-half.

Living in a deluxe room with free breakfast is a fantastic experienced and we can have peace of mind during the stay . I was so lucky also because I won a GC (gift certificate) that’s why I can stay at Fersal Hotel for FREE! Yes, you read it right! I stayed there for free!
