Come and Visit Surigao

City of Surigao is located at the North easternmost tip of Mindanao Island, the capital of the province of Surigao Del Norte, Philippines. Surigao is pronounced as su-reh-gau. People in Surigao are called Surigaonon or SurigueƱo. 

The city of Surigao is fall under the tropical climate type and it is also prone to thunderstorms. But, there are various species of fish and aquatic life that can be found within its territorial sea boundaries.
Also, Surigao City is the center of politics, commerce, industry and education for all province as well as parts of neighboring provinces of Surigao Del Sur, Agusan Del Norte and Southern Leyte.

Surigao owns numerous world class natural attractions includes, Sohoton National Park, Bucas Grande Island, Guyam Island, Daku Island, General Luna’s Cloud Nine Surfs, and Del Carmen Mangroves.

Famous hotels and resorts in the city are Hotel Tavern, Philippine Gateway Hotel, Almont Hotel and Beach Resort, Daydream Laguna Resort, and Fiesta Diving Resort.

Of course, the beaches are awesome! Like, Mabua Pebble Beach, Ipil Beach, Berok Island, Basul Island, Panomboyom Beach, Danawan Island, Sumilom Island, Sibale Island, and Sagisi Island Beach. Some points of interest that a traveler would love is Buenavista Cave and more.

I definitely include this to my weekend getaway bucket lists.
