Sagada is the 5th class municipality in the province of Mountain Province, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 10,930 people in 2,158 households. It is also well known for its popular activities such as trekking, spelunking, rappelling, hiking and visiting historical sites around the place.
Sagada is located 275 km. north of Manila, 140 km. from Baguio, and it is adjacent to Bontoc, the provincial capital.
This is Sumaging Cave or also known as “the big cave”. Before you can enter the cave, you need to get a guide in exploring this cave because unlike the other caves, it is difficult to find your way inside.
You can see different forms of the cave rocks which the guide will gave names, such as pregnant woman and more. The water inside the cave is fresh and crystal clear.

The municipality of Sagada has become the only Philippines town that is predominantly Protestant with almost 95% baptized into the Episcopal Church.
