Surigao City Beaches and Resorts

Surigao City owns beautiful beaches and resort that tourist visitors would love. Tourist can enjoy and relax.

Mabua Pebble Beach is a beach that forms the northern end of a closest shoreline that includes the Ipil Beach. The smooth white pebbles and gray rock formations are its main features. There are many resorts and cottages for rent around the area.

Ipil Beach is a white pebble beach located at the south of Mabua beach nearby Ipil village.


Berok Island is surrounded by gigantic mangroves as far as the eye can see. It is a small shell beach which is very accessible only by a motor boat. You can snorkel in the closest reef, or explore the labyrinthine mangrove forest.

Basul Island is visible from any point in Surigao City. It is a tiny island looks like a lone sentry at the entrance of Hinituan Channel. A fine white sand beach of Basul Island is pretty cool, with mix assorted shells rims a grove of coconut trees.

Panomboyom Beach is a white sand beach shaped like a horseshoe located at the southern tip of Hikdop Island, beautiful scenery.

Danawan Island is located across Hikdop Island; white sand beach is rich in rare sea shells.

Sumilom Island is located in the middle of Surigao Strait with white sand beaches; it is a remote island in Surigao.

Sibale Island is fringed white sand beach which accessible by motor boat for around 45 minutes from the City.

Sagisi Island Beach is accessible by a motorboat for about an hour from the city proper. It is a 3 km stretch of white sand beach with a beautiful coral reef that abounds with various marine lives.
