The main entrance of Fort Santiago

Fort Santiago is an oldest Hispanic stone fortresses located in Northern part of the Walled City. It is across Manila Cathedral, Intramuros, Manila. The Philippines’ National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal was imprisoned in the fort before his putting to death in 1896. The final footsteps of Dr. Jose Rizal were representing the walk from his cell to the location of the actual execution.
